He didn’t forget and abandon her on purpose but…
He treated his own kids with indifference in his home to the point he didn’t notice the abuse the poor kid was going through. Now he’s chasing her in her own home and saying he’ll treat her better when he can’t seem to care for either Ravi or Dive and Jayner.
Escra’s personality makes no sense. If he’s suddenly so concerned why isn’t he worried about Ravi when he was a step father to a 5 years old and that’s old enough to remember that amnesia year. He’s not even curious about Ravi’s memories of the events during that time when he’s the only witness still here.
No he still doesn’t recall the past. The past scenes are from the authors pov so that’s why he asked the count whether it is because he was close with him or something that is upsetting ravi now

I hate the dad because he only cares about her and not ravi. I get that he’s not his son by blood but after seeing that flashback, honestly frick him.
