Using the wrong gendered pronoms can get really confusing.
Since the MC has previously been stated to use she/her using he/him when refering to herself mean we can’t be sure if she is actually talking about herself.
Same way it make it almost impossible to know the director gender.
If gendering is complex defaulting to they/them is a better and actually less confusing choice since it’s a neutral pronom and it’s easy to guess from context if the subject is plural or singular.
English has a gender neutral pronom and is a fairly non gendered language, take advantage of it!
